I love a good, long, hard, alignment focused yoga class. But as Fall is finally (finally!) creeping in, and the weather changes, I can feel myself want to slow down. I know you’re feeling it too based on the requests I get in public classes!
I’m happy to bring you this free, 25 minute yoga class that I like to call Easy Like Sunday Morning. We start in Savasana (always a good sign), and stay on our backs working into our ankles, hips, hamstrings, and starting to bring a little fire to the core. Then we move to seated, adding in some side bends and stretch into the shoulders. From there we go to hands and knees for continued work on the spine and shoulders. And the good news? There’s only 1 Downward Facing Dog! That doesn’t happen very often 😉
And what’s more relaxing than some simple awareness to the breath? That’s where we end, in a comfortable seat, breathing. We can get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to notice the breath that guides our way.
This class is perfect for Sundays, or any day of the week where you want to bring in those chill Sunday vibes. It’s great for beginners, or when you just need to step away from the busy-ness of your week. Listen to the call of nature and be okay to slow down too.
If you’re craving more classes like this, let me know in the comments! You can always join me for Gentle/Restorative at Springs Yoga Atlanta every Tuesday night at 7:15pm! And please, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel, if you aren’t already. There’s some exciting things ahead that I can’t wait to share with you! Thank you for all of your support, and I hope to see you on the mat, whether in your own home or in the studio. Namaste, my friends.
