I have a new yoga class on my YouTube channel!
This 30-minute class is all about the core. The first 5 minutes is our centering and defining and feeling the engagement of your deep core muscles – the pelvic floor and transverse abdominus. We keep the focus on those muscles throughout the entire class as we work in plank variations, modified navasana (boat pose), and half handstand/L-pose.
This class is appropriate for Level 1, with modifications for the more challenging sections. If you’ve been wanting to add more core work at home, this is a great sequence to help. Over time the challenging poses will get easier and easier and you’ll be able to feel your progress. All you will need is your mat, yourself, a blanket or a pair of socks, and the openness to try something new.
