When was the last time you felt like you were being pulled in 20 different directions? Or do you ever just feel like an air head with your head up in the clouds? Or do you simply just have too much going on at once? On top of whatever you may be going through, it is also Springtime. Activities are picking up, we’re spending more time outside, and you might even have some travel plans lined up. Even though Spring is a time of growth and blossoming, because of the extra buzz of energy, it often leaves me feeling ungrounded.
You all loved reading about my morning routine, so now I want to give you a little insight into my evening routine. While my mornings are designed to start my day on a positive note, the evenings are for unwinding and reflecting. I won’t lie to you, sometimes my morning routine gets thrown out the window, but I almost always keep my evening routine in place. It provides me with time to relax and reconnect, but most importantly, it sets me up for a good night’s sleep.
After doing my research on routines, I started putting mine to the test. It’s been over 2 weeks of a consistent morning routine, and I have to say, it’s kind of amazing how much more productive I am. Starting my day off right has made a big difference in not just my work life, but in my personal practices.
We see routines all over the internet – morning routines, evening routines, in blog posts, on YouTube, on Insta story takeovers, some celebrities’s on a big name website. They are everywhere. And you know why? Because they work. My schedule is different every day, so as part of a new year, I really want to get better at having a set routine. I know myself and I know I am much more productive and grounded when I have my routine down.
