Where to Shop for Clean Beauty

Hello, beautiful people! It has been so long since I’ve written a post! Life happens. Priorities change. I realized I don’t have to be so strict and regimented. What a revelation!

But I’m back because I wanted to share where I go for all of my clean beauty needs. Between Black Friday sales and needing to replenish my holy grail products, I’ve experimented with ordering from a few new companies. And let me tell you, I’m impressed. I also constantly see people on Instagram asking for product recommendations and these stores are so well curated that it makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. And an extra little bonus – I have a sneaky discount code for you 🙂

First up, let me introduce you to Follain.

I have seen buzz about Follain for months on Instagram. I’m sure you’ve come across their ads while watching Stories. I kept going back and forth on trying their Clean Essentials Kit, which is full of products I’ve been wanting to try. (I’m looking at you, Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner). As luck would have it, Follain reached out to me as asked if I wanted to become an ambassador. I answered YES as quickly as I could.

I was sent the Clean Essentials Kit, and let me tell you, it is completely worth the hype. That Osea cleanser? Great! The toner? Excellent, even for my sensitive skin! And the Follain refillable soap came at the perfect time – I had just run out of hand soap in my bathroom. Not only is this kit well curated, but you also receive a voucher of $10 off your next full-sized purchase. And it doesn’t have to be one of the products in the kit! Although I’ll be buying both the cleanser and toner once I run out. My skin has loved them both. That’s saying a lot because we’ve been battling since I went off hormonal birth control.

You can try out the kit too, which is currently an amazing deal at $25. But I also have a code you can use for 15% off – ref15_iwb4nc. Follain carries some of my favorite brands including RMS Beauty, Herbivore Botanicals, Cocokind, and One Love Organics.

A few of my well-loved products?

For a local spot, check out Fig & Flower.

While I order a lot of my skincare online, makeup can be harder to judge from pictures alone. I head to Fig & Flower when there’s a product I’ve been thinking about but I want to see it in person, swatch it, feel the texture, etc. And honestly? Sometimes I just want a product now.

The store front is absolutely gorgeous. The employees are always super nice. And again, they carry great brands – Ilia, 100% Pure, Vapour, and Clove & Hallow. This is where I pick up my Suntegrity “5 in 1” Moisturizing Tint that I use every single day as my sunscreen/tinted moisturizer. They recently came out with a matte version that I’ll be lusting after for the warmer months.

For more online shopping, get lost exploring  Credo Beauty or The Detox Market.

Both Credo and Detox Market are excellent online stores. It’s so freeing to scroll through pages and pages of products and know that no matter what you choose, it will be clean. Because of Credo, I discovered the only exfoliator I will ever use from now until the end of time – Aquareveal Soft Water Peel. This stuff is the best.

What I love about The Detox Market is their sample program. A lot of natural, clean beauty is expensive! And if you have sensitive skin like me, you want to try it before you invest. You can pick 4 samples for just $7.99. They say their intended for one or two uses, but I tried an eye cream and my new favorite Herbivore Pink Cloud moisturizer and easily got 4 or 5 days worth. And when I say you get to pick, it’s not between 5 products. You can choose from almost everything on their site! There are some limitations like mascaras, eyeliner, and bath soaks, but there are so many other options out there.

And that’s it! A lot of information, I know, but if you’re trying to transition into using cleaner products, just go one product at a time. Next time you need something, look at any of these stores and see what you find. Or try some of the kits if you just want to dip your toes in. I would say 90-95% of my bathroom products are considered clean beauty and it makes me feel at ease.
